First assemble the base of your apple frame by gluing FOUR popsicle sticks together in a square formation. This way you have an opening in the center for your picture.

Repeat for each apple picture frame you want to make.

Set it aside to let it dry a bit {instead of school glue, a hot glue gun works instantly to secure the sticks in place!}

Next have children paint the front of their popsicle stick shape completely red or green.

Set it aside.

Next cut out a small green leaf and brown stem from your cardstock.

Glue those to the front of the popsicle stick design in their designated spot.

Now let it all dry completely before securing your printed picture to the back of the craft stick frame. {you can do this step with school glue or tape.} You might have to trim your picture down a little to make it fit in the frame. Just use your scissors.

Once done decorating the apple frame and it's completely dry, display it proudly for ALL to see. You can either prop it on a shelf as is or hot glue ribbon and/or magnets to the back!
