Large Paper Plate
First draw/cut out your football shape from a paper plate. I just imagined an "eye" and went from there.
Next, cut your tan tissue paper into your small squares.
Follow that up by putting a good layer of glue all over the paper plate you just made.
Have your child place the tissue paper on top of the glue, until the plate piece is completely covered.
Cut some strips out of white cardstock and glue on the paper plate, to give the look of stitching.
Finally, let your Paper Plate Football dry completely before displaying proudly.
