Chalk Art Snowy Day On Paper
Tools:
- Baby Wipes
- School Glue or Glue Stick
Supplies:
- Cardstock Paper
- Sidewalk Chalk
- Large Craft Foam Snowflake Shapes
Instructions:
- First things first - grab your dark colored cardstock paper and the white chalk.
- Rub the white chalk all over the paper to create a "snowy" and cloudy scene, to set your winter day. Add as much or as little as you like.
- At this point in time you can also draw on some hard line swirls, smaller snowflakes etc.
- When done adding the chalk to the paper, use baby wipes to clean off your fingers.
- Now grab your craft foam snowflake cutout and the glue stick.
- Glue the snowflake piece to the center of the chalk art design.
- Add any other embellishments you see fit {maybe some glitter glue or some other holiday themed stickers on the snowflake shape.}
- Then display your custom, one-of-a-kind paper art snowflake scene piece proudly for all to see!

Make It Your Own:
Did you know you can dip your chalk in water to make the white chalk more vibrant on your paper? Yup! Just set a small dish with tap water on the table, dip the chalk in it for a few seconds and then draw on the paper the same way as before. This step would be great to make the fake snow really POP from the paper!
Don't have access to any craft foam snowflake shakes? No worries! You can ALWAYS hand-cut a snowflake design {like the ones we use to make in elementary school} from computer paper and adhere it to the center, instead!
