First have your child cover their paper plate in a polka dot design. This is done by dipping the wine corks in the paint, then on the paper plate. Anything goes so encourage them! Once it's completely covered - set aside to let it dry completely.

Once dry, it's time to make the snake come to life. Flip over the paper plate. Starting from the center, draw a spiral design. This will be cut, so don't overlap any lines.

Next, cut the line you just drew with scissors. The snake will start to get it's shape.

To finish off the paper plate snake craft, add embellishments like eyes and a tongue to really give the snake life.

To hang the polka dot snake craft, hole punch a hole in the head and string some ribbon through.
