Pine Cone Christmas Trees
These pinecone holiday trees are an easy, affordable, and festive craft idea for kids!
- Large Pinecones
- Craft Paint
- Loose Craft Glitter
- Small Pom Poms
Instructions
- Place your pine cone on a large paper plate, so you have a great working surface that you can easily clean afterwards.
- Squeeze a nice layer of puffy paint {in squiggles and swirls} all over the pine cone. The more paint you add the better it is, so lay it on thick and make it POP!
- Once the above step is completed, follow that up by sprinkling a good amount of loose craft glitter all over the wet puffy paint you just put down.
- Now add some small pom poms in between the empty spaces to create the "bulbs" on the tree.
- At this point in time, you can also add any other embellishments you like as well {I added some foam star cutouts to the top of mine!}
- When done decorating the pine cones, let your "trees" dry completely before removing from paper plate.
- Then display them proudly for ALL to see!
