Simple Pipe Cleaner Fish Game
It's super easy to put together {10 minutes tops} and is a great "busy bag" idea for toddlers.
- 1 Wooden Dowel
- Pipe Cleaners
- 1 Magnet
- Craft Felt
- Craft Yarn
Instructions
- Take one pipe cleaner and bend in half. Form a circle and twist off the two ends to look like a fish tail. WOW - you now have a fish! Go ahead and repeat this step for ALL of your pipe cleaners to make your fish game pieces.
- Next, cut off a piece of string. Wrap and hot glue the string around the magnet. Then tie the string to your "fishing" pole.
- To play the fishing pole game, lay out the blue felt for the water. Place fish on the felt. Ask your child to catch the fish. The metal material in the pipe cleaners will be attracted to the magnet - making it easy to pull up the fish.
