Fix flatten your coffee filters so it's easy to decorate. Next - hand over the markers and tell your child to have at it. The more they draw on the filters - the more of a colorful design they will get.
Once they have the design they like, it's time for the spray bottle. {Make sure you are in a working area that can get messy} Have them spray down their coffee filters - making a tye-dye design.
Set aside the filters to dry completely. Be sure to separate/hang the layers, so it dries faster.
While the coffee filters are drying, work on the body of the peacock. I just drew/cut a bowling pin shape out of cardstock. Also adding a beak & eyes to give it life.
Once the filters are completely dry, glue on the body and extra pieces to the center of the coffee filter. And bam! You have a peacock!
