To start off, I painted some blue waves on our construction paper to add some depth. I guess I under estimated my shades and the blue didn't really show after it dried. If I could go back, I would have chosen a lighter blue. {This just shows, not all crafts will go according to plans but we make it work!}
Next I made our gray paint. It was just a matter of mixing a little black, with a ton of white paint.
Then I painted Lil Man's foot and pressed it on the paper. Be sure to have tons of baby wipes in reach!
To finish off our Footprint Sharks Keepsake, I painted some triangles for the fins, glued on the wiggle eye and drew on teeth with the black Sharpie.
I also added some waves with the Sharpie, as well as some additional fish in the picture.
And of course, all handprint crafts need a date in the corner so you remember how old your child was, when you made it.
