First things first - take ONE coffee filter and fold it in half. Straight up the center to make it look like a taco.

Go ahead and use your stapler to make ONE stapler in the coffee filter, to secure it together.

Now the fun part - decorating the coffee filter. There is no right or wrong way to this. I used ink pads on mine but watercolors, markers with a spray bottle, crayons, craft paint etc. will work. Just GO TO TOWN on making it your own with bright, beautiful colors!

When you are done decorating, it's time to add the umbrella handle. Grab your pipe cleaner, scissors and again, the stapler.

Go ahead and cut the pipe cleaner in half.

Take one half of the pipe cleaner for your umbrella and save the other for another craft {or to make a second umbrella!}

Go ahead and bend the pipe cleaner to look like a candy cane/umbrella handle shape.

Now staple it to your decorated coffee filter.

When done, take some tape, add it to the back of the umbrella craft and tape it to the window for all to see!
