First things first - grab your jumbo popsicle stick and the various colors of markers.

Decorate the stick to make it look like a fairy. Add eyes, lips, hair, shoes etc. Just make sure you don't push to hard so the marker doesn't bleed.

When done decorating the popsicle stick, set it aside for a bit.

Next grab your black or gray colored paper, along with your choice of colors in chalk.

Start envisioning the fairy's wings on the paper and draw them out with the chalk. My best suggestion is do draw a large, four petal flower in the center of the cardstock. Then build from there.

Add as much or as little chalk & color as you like.

When done with the chalk, use baby wipes to clean off your fingers.

Next grab your decorated jumbo popsicle stick from earlier and your choice of adhesive.

Glue your wood piece into the center of the chalk lines you just made.

Add any other embellishments you see fit {maybe some glitter or some star stickers for a night sky.}

Then display your custom one-of-a-kind paper and chalk fairy piece proudly for all to see!
