First things first - we are going to cut out the flying witch design, using our Cricut Maker 3 and the black sticker cardstock paper. Go ahead and plug in your machine.
Now, in your Cricut Design Space app, you are going to start a new project, hit add image and type in "flying witch" in the search bar. There are several different options to choose from in the app but we decided to go with #MC2B828C - Witch Silhouette {feel free to use whatever witch design you like - there are tons to choose from. Just remember to get your child's input since it's their creation!}
I then resized the witch graphic on my screen, to 5.5 inches wide but you can make your witch shape any size you like. You just have to keep in mind that it needs to fit on your sticker cardstock paper AND on your paper plate. I would say that go no bigger than 7 inches.
Once you have the desired design/size squared away, load the sticker paper in the machine and hit cut - the Cricut will do the rest.
When it's done, just pull it out of the machine and set aside.
Now we are ready to make the paper plate moon. Go ahead and grab your yellow tissue paper and scissors.
Cut out a handful of squares from the tissue paper.
Drizzle a good amount of school glue all over the large paper plate.
Next layer the yellow tissue paper on top of the glue covered paper plate, until it's completely covered.
Now we are heading towards the last step! Grab your handmade flying witch sticker from earlier and carefully peel it off. Just like a regular sticker. No special tool required.
Drumroll - now lay the witch sticker in the center of the decorated paper plate. That's it! You are done!
At this point in time you can add any other embellishments you see fit {maybe some glitter or other stickers} before you allow your paper plate Halloween moon craft to dry completely before you display it proudly for all to see this month!
