First things first! If you haven't already - be sure to grab the free WITCH HAT file and print it out on a single sheet of white cardstock paper.

Next grab your choice of coloring materials and color in the hat design in the printable.

When done coloring, go ahead and trim out hat shape. Set it aside.

Now grab your orange cardstock paper and trace both of your child's hands {one at a time, in separate locations} on the paper.

When done tracing, trim them both out. This will be the witch's hair for the craft.

At this point in time you should also cut out an oval nose for the witch.

Set all the paper pieces aside.

Next up - squirt the black craft paint on the paper plate.

Lay the brown paper bag on a flat surface, with the flap facing up.

You are going to want to paint the larger side {not the flap} black.

When you are done painting, it's time for the final step! Go ahead and glue the decorated hat cutout piece from earlier, to the flap piece of the paper bag.

Follow by up by gluing on the "handprint hair" cutouts to the flap of the paper bag.

Finish it up by adding gluing on the nose and adding any other embellishments you see fit.

Then let your finished craft dry completely before you display the finished Paper Bag Halloween Witch Puppet proudly or play with it for some imaginative fun.
