Craft Ideas For Kids To Recreate Using A Potato As A Stamp
One of the greatest {and maybe most surprising} ways to stamp on paper is with raw potatoes. Yes, you read that right – potatoes from your kitchen or perhaps even your own garden! They don’t even need to be perfect or in “good” shape to be used. Maybe the potato is covered in “eyes” and was about to land itself in the trash but before you do that, save it for a quick craft!
Stamping with potatoes is surprisingly easy {even for the youngest crafter in the house – with adult supervision of course!} Simply cut a raw potato in half and then press one of the two pieces into your craft paint to create a basic stamp design within minutes. That’s it! From there, you can add other embellishments to bring what was originally a simple circle shape that you just made on paper, to something even more amazing.
On that note, I’ll show you how easy it really is. Below you find ALL the creative ways I’ve incorporated a simple potato into my handmade card ideas. From handmade Christmas cards to even magical unicorns for birthdays, I have a little of everything in today’s potato stamping roundup collection. Just keep on scrolling to see ALL of them in one place. I bet you are going to find something awesome to recreate today!
