* School Glue
* Yellow Craft Paint
* Small Paper Plate
* Foam Paint Brush
* Various Colors of Cardstock {we used white/orange/brown}
* Kid Friendly Scissors
* Decorative Plastic Craft Leaves {Dollar Tree}
Directions:
* First assemble the base of your scarecrow by gluing your popsicle sticks together to look like a fence {7 next to each and two across.}
* Set aside to let it dry completely.
* Once dry, go ahead and squirt some yellow paint on your paper plate.
* Have children paint the front of their newly made popsicle stick piece completely yellow.
* Set aside to let it dry completely again.
* Now grab your cardstock and scissors.
* Go ahead and cut out some scarecrow features from it. Think eyes, nose and of course, a fun hat to give him an iconic scarecrow look!
* To finish off the Popsicle Stick Scarecrow craft, have children glue on their cardstock pieces, along with the decorative leaf hair and collar, in their designated spots on the popsicle stick design.
* Then allow children to add other embellishments they see fit before displaying proudly!!!
