Crinkle Paper Stuffed Carrot Craft For Kids To Make This Easter!
I’m so excited to bring you another installment to my “crinkle paper” obsession I have as of late!
With the Easter aisles of various stores BURSTING with this affordable paper material, I highly encourage you to give today’s latest craft idea a try. Especially if you are looking for a fun way to recycle this material AFTER the Easter season is done.
Today’s Crinkle Paper Carrot art project idea is REALLY SIMPLE for you to conquer with your youngest bunnies in your home. My favorite element is the handprint “greenery” on top!
You could even have children add some small wrapped candies and trinkets to their stuffed paper carrots to turn them into instant goodie bags. Wouldn’t it be cute to see your child hand their “carrot” to someone special on Easter morning? You could even pair the finished pieces with our “some bunny loves you” gift tag printable! So many ideas running through my head right now – hopefully I’m starting to spark it for you as well!
To complete this tutorial, all you need is some ORANGE shredded paper, a few triangle shaped clear gift bags and green cardstock to make these “vegetables” grow from the ground up! Just cut, stuff and admire!
Keep scrolling for the full how-to tutorial so you can help your child recreate their own creative crinkle paper stuffed carrot piece today! Let me know in the comments below if you plan on turning it into a quick gift for someone special! I’m curious to know what you think of that particular idea! - When it’s closed, grab the handprint cutout from earlier.
- To finish off the crinkle paper carrot fish craft, staple the paper handprint to the top of the stuffed bag.
- Now display it proudly for ALL to see!

Make it your own – instead of using crinkle paper, think of other ways you can “fill” up your baggie. Maybe even make it a scavenger hunt in your home. Encourage kids to grab large orange colored pom poms, crumbled up orange tissue paper, fabric scraps – let their creative juices soar as they make their craft come to life in a different way!
Don’t forget – you can also turn these into stuffed carrot party favors by adding wrapped candy and trinkets inside the stuffed carrots!
