Valentine’s Day Troll Craft Idea
Continuing on with the Valentine’s Day craft fun on Glued To My Crafts, today we are adding a TROLL to the mix and I hope you are just as excited as I am for this latest inspiring DIY!
So without further ado… I want YOU to recreate some magical craft time with your child this afternoon, with our latest & greatest Paper Plate Valentine Troll kid craft idea!!! I highly encourage you to make one of your own as well!
We are going to show YOU how easy it is to turn ordinary inexpensive red heart shaped paper plates and craft foam hearts into a one-of-a-kind troll head piece within minutes! Then, whether you use them as holiday party decor, pretend play pieces OR as creative Valentines for your child’s classroom party – this troll craft idea is sure to be a real “fast” winner!!!

PAIR THESE VALENTINE TROLL CRAFT WITH —> Popsicle Stick Troll House
I want YOU to recreate some magical craft time with your child this afternoon, with our latest Paper Plate Valentine Troll kid craft idea!
Craft Supplies:
- Red Heart Shaped Paper Plates – one per troll craft
- Large Craft Foam Hearts – one per troll craft
- Hand-Held Office Stapler
- Basic Craft Scissors
- Extra Large Wiggle Eyes – two per troll craft
- Red Cardstock Paper
- Tan Cardstock Paper
- School Glue
- Black Sharpie Marker
- optional materials – embellishments like glitter, rhinestones, small bows etc.
Directions:
- You will need ONE paper plate and ONE craft foam heart shape per troll craft. Pull them both out, along with your stapler.
- Staple your paper plate and craft foam heart shape together like our picture above. The craft foam shape will look like the troll’s hair, while the paper plate is the face.
- Now we are going to cut out some embellishments to bring it to life. Grab all your sheets of cardstock and your scissors.
- Cut out a nose from the tan cardstock.
- Out of the red, cut out two pointy ears for your troll.
- To finish off your Paper Plate Valentine Troll, staple {or glue} your cardstock pieces in place on the paper plate piece.
- Go ahead and also add the wiggle eyes & any other embellishments you see fit {like glitter, heart stickers etc.} before drawing on the large smile with the black Sharpie marker.
- When done decorating, set it aside to allow it to dry completely.
- Then display it proudly for all to see!
