Building off of that particular post, with today’s simple Popsicle Stick Valentine Love Potion idea, you and your child can play “pretend” as you mix up and create some one-of-a-kind magical potion pieces that any scientist would be proud of! All you need is wooden craft sticks, cardstock paper and a little craft imagination to BREW it up! I’ve laid it out super simple in the full tutorial below so there’s no excuse NOT TO make it happen!

Love Potion Bottle Craft Supplies:
* Jumbo Popsicle Sticks {4 per love potion bottle craft}
* Mini Popsicle Sticks {2 per love potion bottle craft}
* School Glue
* Craft Paint {think valentine shades like red, pink and purple}
* Paint Brushes
* Paper Plate
* Paper Craft Scissors
* Valentine Print Scrapbook Paper
* Gray Colored Cardstock
* Matching Paint Color Cardstock
* White Cardstock
* Valentine’s Day Heart Stickers
optional – craft glitter, rhinestones, buttons etc.
Directions:
* First pull out your popsicle sticks. You need four jumbo and two mini per love potion bottle you want to make.
* Go ahead and glue your popsicle sticks together to look like a fence.
* Set aside to let it dry completely.
* Repeat for each craft.
* Now you are ready for paint. Go ahead and squirt your craft paint on the paper plate.
* Paint your popsicle stick shape however you like.
* Set aside to let it dry completely.
* Next go ahead and grab ALL your cardstock sheets & scissors.
* Cut out a large rectangular label, for the center, from the scrapbook paper.
* Then cut out a medium sized circle, for the center, from the white.
* Decorate that piece with your heart sticker.
* Finally – cut out the top portion of the bottle from the remaining cardstock. Use our pictures for an example.
* To finish off your Popsicle Stick Love Potion Bottle – glue on your cardstock pieces, as well as any other embellishments you see fit.
