PAIR YOUR WITCH SLOTH CRAFT WITH —> Paper Plate Sloth Scarecrow – Kid Craft Idea
Sloth Witch Craft Supplies:
- Small Paper Plate {one per sloth witch craft}
- Lime Green or Purple Craft Paint
- Foam Paint Brush
- Kid Friendly Scissors
- Kraft Colored Cardstock
- White Cardstock
- Craft Foam Witch Hat {I got mine at Michaels}
- Hand-Held Office Stapler
- School Glue
- Black Sharpie Marker
- optional embellishments – scrapbook paper, Halloween stickers
Directions:
- First things first – grab your small paper plate, choice of color in craft paint and foam paint brush.
- Go ahead and paint the paper plate completely.
- Set it aside to allow it to dry a bit.
- Next, grab all the sheets of cardstock and the scissors.
- Out of the kraft colored cardstock, cut out an oval shape for the center of the sloth’s face.
- Follow that up by cutting out the eyes, as well as any other pieces you see fit.
- Now glue all your cardstock pieces you just made, in place on the paper plate.
- Take the Sharpie marker and use it to draw on a face, nose and pupils.
- Go ahead and staple the craft foam witch hat to the top off all of that.
- Finish off your paper plate sloth witch, add other embellishments you see fit. I added some embellishments to my witch hat to make it stand out a bit. You can of course add more or as little as you like!
- Then set the finished piece aside to let it dry completely, before displaying proudly for ALL to see!
- Don’t forget to snap a few pictures to share with me on Facebook! #gluedtomycrafts
Make It Your Own Today:
- Instead of the lime green or purple craft paint, swap it out for colored tissue paper instead! Simply cut up your tissue paper into small squares and glue it directly on the paper plate, for a fun textured & somewhat “furry” look.
- Can’t find the exact craft foam witch hats at Michaels? Don’t want to buy them in the first place? No worries! Just hand-cut a witch hat out of black cardstock and use it instead!
- Don’t love our color choices? No worries! You won’t hurt my feelings {honestly} if you decide to change it up. A good original tan color would be nice or maybe even a bright orange for Halloween! Feel free to make it stand out from the crowd!
BEWARE! Don’t let the opportunity of making crafty memories with your child this Halloween season, slip away!

Hi Rhonda – currently we don’t have an option to print the supplies & directions. Maybe in the future we will have a feature like that. I’ll make note of it! <3
