PAIR YOUR WITCH HEDGEHOG CRAFT WITH —> Paper Plate Hedgehog In Pumpkin

Popsicle Stick Hedgehog Witch - Kid Craft

Craft Supplies:

  • Jumbo Popsicle Sticks {3 per hedgehog craft}
  • Mini Popsicle Sticks {2 per hedgehog craft}
  • Mini Clothespins {2 per hedgehog craft}
  • Low Temp Glue Gun
  • Small Witch Hat and Pumpkin Stickers
  • Dark Brown Cardstock Paper
  • Light Kraft Brown Cardstock Paper
  • Black Sharpie Marker
  • Small Black Pom Pom {1 per hedgehog craft}
  • optional materials – small stickers, glitter, rhinestones etc.

Directions:

  • First get the glue gun hot and ready!
  • Assemble the base of your hedgehog witch friend by gluing THREE jumbo popsicle sticks and TWO mini popsicle sticks together to look like a fence {3 next to each other and the mini popsicle sticks across}
  • Set aside to let it dry completely. Repeat for each witch friend you want to make.
  • Now grab ALL your sheets of cardstock paper and scissors.
  • Cut out a large heart shaped head, the spikes for the hedgehog’s back and two small heart shaped feet. See our pictures for an example.
  • Now go ahead and glue ALL the paper pieces to the popsicle stick shape you made earlier.
  • At this point in time you should also use the black Sharpie marker to draw on eyes and hot glue the pom pom nose in place.
  • This next step is CRUCIAL. Take your TWO mini clothespins and pinch them {one on each side} around the decorative pumpkin piece to look like the hedgehog’s hands/arms are holding it.
  • Go ahead and hot glue the combined piece you just made, to the center of the painted popsicle stick shape.
  • To finish off the Popsicle Stick Hedgehog Witch craft, add the black hat sticker on it’s head. Following that up by adding any other embellishments you see fit.
  • Then let it dry completely before displaying proudly!
  • Don’t forget to snap a few pictures to share with us! #gluedtomycrafts
