Welcome friends! I’m so glad you landed here to check out our latest and greatest 3-D Pom Pom Cherry Cards tutorial. It’s a continuation of our popular 3-D Pom Pom Unicorn Card tutorial from last year and I hope {BOTH} of our ideas inspire you today!
So what are you waiting for?! This tutorial of our 3-D Pom Pom Cherry Card is the one to set out to do today! It’s perfect for adults AND kids of any skill level to tackle!
You can purchase everything you need from your local craft store and for minimal amounts. It’s nothing elaborate or super “fancy” to acquire. The total cost of this project could be less than one dollar if you plan it just right!
The basis of the craft is taking some simple medium sized red pom poms and adhering them to some paper doilies, that you later add to another piece of cardstock to make cherries. There’s NOTHING in the stores like this, so it’s truly a custom DIY that is perfect to give to friends and family, ANY DAY of the year!

Pom Pom Cherry Cards Supplies:
- Premade Cardstock Cards
- Medium Sized Red Pom Poms {TWO per craft}
- Thick Tacky Glue or a Low-Temp Hot Glue Gun
- Basic Paper Craft Scissors
- Small White Circular Paper Doilies
- Green Colored Cardstock
Directions:
- If you don’t buy your cards premade, go ahead and make those first from some cardstock. I went with a square card with another smaller square shape glued to the front.
- Next grab a circular white paper doily and secure it in place on the front of your card with some glue.
- Now grab TWO medium sized red pom poms and use a thick tacky glue {or glue gun} to secure them in place on your card front.
- To finish off the cherry look, cut out some stems and leaves from some green cardstock.
- Glue those down on the card front as well.
- Finally – when the card is all assembled, add other embellishments you like to give it that custom look.
- Then set aside to let it dry completely, before writing a message inside and giving away proudly!
