Inspired by spring and my favorite part of the season – today’s Thumbprint Easter Egg Bucket craft idea is super easy to make within minutes and it’s relatively inexpensive too! All you need is a printer, paper and ink pads to make it happen today!
If you have a printer in your home and the capability of downloading our FREE file, you are well on your way to pulling this DIY activity together and creating a great piece to show off ALL season long with the kids!!
In this Glued To My Crafts exclusive post, I’ve included a FREE Easter bucket printable template {thanks to DailyArtHub.com for the clipart} so all you need to do is print the file in color on white cardstock, grab some ink pads and have children “fill” it with as many as they like “egg” thumbprints. It’s seriously that simple!
So let’s get to it! Start your own crafty adventure by downloading the file below and getting to work on creating this adorable egg hunt themed craft today. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it!

Thumbprint Easter Egg Hunt Supplies:
* Free Template Printable {Download HERE}
* White Cardstock
* Color Printer
* Pastel Colored Ink Pads
* Baby Wipes
* Thin Tipped Sharpie Markers
optional – Easter Stickers
Directions:
* First download and print the free Easter Bucket template printable on white cardstock.
* Next grab your ink pads. Have children press their thumb {or any other finger} on the ink pad, then on the printable.
* Repeat to make several “eggs” piled up high, in and around the bucket. Add as much as you like!
* Clean off your fingers with a baby wipe.
* To finish off the Thumbprint Easter Egg Hunt, draw on squiggles, lines and dot embellishments with Sharpie markers to give each egg a fun look.
* Go ahead and add other embellishments like Easter stickers to make it one-of-a-kind!
* Then display proudly for all to see!!
