This Baby Jesus Christmas Star Ornament idea is the SWEETEST! Made with little hands, it’s the perfect addition to your tree this holiday season! #gluedtomycrafts
I had some leftover yellow craft foam stars from our Santa Star and Reindeer Star posts, that I decided to make a religious themed craft to share with you all today.
This Baby Jesus themed tutorial is just a yellow craft foam star {I got mine at Michaels but you could substitute with any star craft medium} some leftover brown yarn for the straw and then a cardstock baby for the center. All of which is secured with some simple Elmer’s school glue.
Then when you are done and the craft is completely dry, hole punch a hole at the top and string some pretty ribbon through it, for easy hanging. It’s probably the easiest craft EVER but a true favorite to enjoy year after year!
A creative spin for this idea would be to have children make it, hang it on the tree and tell them that’s its a way for the Three Wise Men to find Baby Jesus on Christmas :-) I also could see this DIY being done in a large setting in Children’s Church or a church Christmas party. Very minimal supplies needed, as well as short steps! Just be sure to place some markers on the table, for kids to write their name on the back of their creations!

What did you use for baby Jesus’ “swaddling clothes?”
