PAIR YOUR PUMPKIN TRUCK PAPER PLATE CRAFT WITH —> Craft Stick Witch Truck
Craft Supplies:
- Large Paper Plate – one plate makes TWO pumpkin trucks at once
- Basic Craft Scissors
- Orange Craft Paint
- Paint Brush
- Various Colors of Cardstock Paper {black, gray, white, yellow, brown}
- Glue Stick
- Hand-Held Office Stapler
- Green Pipe Cleaner – one per pumpkin truck craft
- Black Marker
- optional materials – craft foam, glitter, rhinestones etc.
Directions:
- First things first – cut your LARGE paper plate in half. You only need ONE paper plate half per jack-o-lantern truck. You can either make two trucks today or save one half for a rainy day. The choice is up to you!
- Next up – paint the paper plate half completely orange with a paint brush. Set aside to let your piece dry completely.
- When the painted plate is dry, use scissors and our picture above as a guide to cut out two triangular pieces from the sides, to make a more defined “truck.” Set aside your piece.
- Next, you will want to grab the various cardstock sheets and cut out the truck’s bumper {long rectangle} wheels {small rectangles} pumpkin stem {rectangle} lights {circles} grill {rectangle} and a window {rectangle} out of the various colors of cardstock. At this point in time, you will also want to curl the green pipe cleaner for the pumpkin vine. Use markers to draw on eyes and a smile on the window & bumper.
- FINALLY – the last step – go ahead and staple and/or use the glue stick to secure your paper pieces & pipe cleaner in the designated spots on your soon to be “truck.”
- Then if desired, add anything else you like for that one-of-a-kind custom look, before displaying it proudly for all to see!
