Popsicle Stick Frankenstein Ballerinas – Halloween Kid Craft
Our latest popsicle stick Frankenstein ballerina craft is not too spooky or cute-sty. It’s JUST right for the Halloween season we are in {least in my opinion anyways!}
Like I mentioned above, all I did was change up my previous tutorials by adding colors that reflect a more “Frankenstein” feel. It’s still just as easy and inexpensive as the precious version we shared on Glued To My Crafts but more appropriate for those “spook-tacular” events.
Like seriously – couldn’t you see this idea being done at a Halloween party?! It’s also a clever way to use up those leftover cupcake liners if you are baking for “said” event.
So on that note – let’s not wait anymore! Let’s grab our supplies and “dance” into Halloween with these adorable & completely customizable ballerinas! Then display as is OR use them in some creative imaginative play. Whatever you do – have fun with it!
Happy crafting, my friends!!! Don’t forget to share pictures of your dancing craft stick Frankenstein ballerina puppets on our Facebook page wall, so we can admire your #cutenotscary pieces from a far! I can’t wait to see how you decorate yours!

Frankenstein Ballerina Craft Supplies:
* Jumbo Popsicle Sticks {one per craft}
* Green Pipe Cleaners {one per craft}
* Cupcake Liners {one per craft}
* School Glue
* Thin Tip Black Sharpie Markers
* Halloween Colors of Paint Pens, Markers or Craft Paint w/Brushes
* Black Cardstock
optional – rhinestones, glitter, glitter glue
Directions:
* First have children COLOR their jumbo popsicle stick completely green. This will give the look of Frankenstein.
* When done coloring, set it aside till later.
* Next up – flatten/fold their cupcake liners in half and glue them to the center of their popsicle stick. This is the ballerina’s tutu. Repeat for each ballerina.
* Once the cupcake liners are down, grab your paint pens and draw on a face, hair and of course – ballet slippers onto the popsicle stick.
* Glue on a “circular” paper bunch to finish the ballerina’s glamorous look. Don’t forget to draw on some “stitches” as well!
* To finish the popsicle stick Frankenstein ballerina piece, have children wrap/bend a single green pipe cleaner a few times around the center of the popsicle sticks to resemble arms.
* At this point children can also add other embellishments {like scrapbook stickers, glitter, rhinestones} that they see fit to really make it their own.
* When done decorating, it’s time to display and/or play with it proudly!
