Calling all my elementary teacher friends! Today’s post is something I came up with, for easy pairing with the beloved book “The Kissing Hand” by Ruth E. Harper.
“School is starting in the forest, but Chester Raccoon does not want to go. To help ease Chester’s fears, Mrs. Raccoon shares a family secret called the Kissing Hand to give him the reassurance of her love any time his world feels a little scary. Since its first publication in 1993, this heartwarming book has become a children’s classic that has touched the lives of millions of children and their parents, especially at times of separation, whether starting school, entering daycare, or going to camp. It is widely used by kindergarten teachers on the first day of school. Stickers at the back will help children and their parents keep their Kissing Hand alive.”
Today’s “here are some kisses for you” gift tag printable is perfect for you to gift to incoming children on the first day of school {the perfect opportunity is after reading The Kissing Hand book!} Whether you pair it with some Hershey kisses like I did OR with some other “kiss” themed trinkets and snacks – it’s just a great easy gift you can pull together on the fly!
So teachers – let’s celebrate the first day of school by gifting your students a little something that will ease the jitters AND make them feel special on the first day. Please take advantage of the FREE KISSING HAND THEMED CARD PRINTABLE provided in today’s post! Keep scrolling on this page to find the FREE download below!
Happy gifting, my friends! And of course – happy “back to school” season as well!!! #gluedtomycrafts
To use this free “back to school kissing hand themed” gift tag printable just download the file, print in color on white cardstock and trim out each section to make FOUR gift tags total. Attach each printed piece to another sheet of cardstock and use them to decorate some treat bags filled with your “kiss” themed treats. Then gift away!
Remember – you can also add your own embellishments to your cardstock pieces, to really make it your own! {like glitter, rhinestones or even stickers!!!}
And dear friends – although I love sharing these printables on Glued To My Crafts, there are some rules to follow so I’m able to keep offering these on my blog for free.
Just like with all my free printables – please only print these for personal use. This Here Are Some Kisses From My Hand To Yours – Gift Tag and Card Printable can also be used for home decor, gifts, scrapbooking, cardmaking etc. But please – no altering, selling or claiming as your own. Also no business or commercial use either. When sharing these on the internet – please link directly to this page and not to the download itself. #gluedtomycrafts
