Today’s Sloth on Popsicle Stick Bamboo kid craft idea is something I’m REALLY proud of because the free printable in this post, is hand drawn and designed by ME! Super excited for this direction I’m hoping to grow on Glued To My Crafts this year! BTW – my son LOVES the movie Zootopia so “Flash” from that movie inspired this fun paper craft DIY!

Anyways – the fun crafty tutorial and the real reason why YOU are here today!

Our sloth themed kid craft tutorial is a slow-paced DIY that kids can craft up on THEIR own rate with minimal help or steps {just like a real sloth!} It’s just a matter of coloring in the sloth in the printable {any way your child want} cutting him out and adding him to a painted popsicle stick for him to “hang” on. Nothing elaborate but still cute!!! Plus you can customize it however YOU like and if desired – you can add magnets to the back to display on the fridge!

Find the FREE printable template below, along with the full tutorial! Then make a whole “bed” of sloths. Yup – a group of sloths is called a bed. You learn something NEW every day!!!

Sloth on Popsicle Stick Bamboo Craft Supplies:

• Free Sloth Printable {download HERE}
• White Cardstock Paper
• Color Printer
• Crayons/Markers
• Basic Craft Scissors
• School Glue
• Jumbo Popsicle Sticks – one per sloth craft

Directions:

• First things first – download and print the FREE TEMPLATE above on thick white cardstock. Print as many as you want! You will want ONE sloth printable per craft.
• Next up – the coloring. Color in the sloth on the printable, however you like. Use markers, pencils, crayons etc.
• Once done, use scissors to trim out the sloth. Set aside.
• Now grab your popsicle stick and coloring materials again. Color the popsicle stick to look like green bamboo.
• FINALLY, glue your sloth cutout to the popsicle stick “bamboo.”
• Then let it dry completely before displaying your popsicle stick bamboo and sloth craft piece proudly!
