Captain America Inspired Slime

It’s so easy to whip up this Captain America inspired slime within minutes!

Captain America Inspired Slime Made With Elmer's Glue

Superhero Inspired Slime Made With Elmer’s Glue

Recently I found some Elmer’s “pre-colored baby blue glue” at Michaels and I instantly thought of Captain America when I held it in my hands. It’s just the right shade of BLUE for the iconic Marvel superhero character!

One thing led to another and here we are today!!! I followed my basic slime recipe from the past {that I have shared more than once on Glued To My Crafts, so it’s tried-and-true!} and within minutes, I had SUPERHERO themed slime that even Captain America would be proud to play with!

So friends – don’t delay! Make some action-packed hero slime with your crime-fighting child today by following our step-by-step tutorial below.

I found all my supplies at my local Michaels but if you need to, there are some Amazon affiliate links throughout my post to help you get started as well!

Happy SLIME-MAKING my friends! If you don’t mind, be sure to share pictures of the sticky creations. It makes my day to see those! You can ALWAYS tag us on Facebook or Instagram for easy sharing! I can’t wait to see what you make today! #gluedtomycrafts

PAIR YOUR CAPTAIN AMERICA BLUE SLIME WITH —> Popsicle Stick Superhero Puppet

Captain America Inspired Slime Captain America Inspired Slime

SLIME MATERIALS:

  • 1/4 cup Elmer’s Magical Liquid
  • 1 {5 fl oz} Elmer’s BLUE Colored Glue
  • Loose Silver Glitter
  • Small Red Craft Sequins
  • 1 Large Bowl to mix your slime in
  • 1/4 measuring cup
  • Mixing Utensil {I prefer a spoon}
  • Large Jar with Lid for storing {I found mine at Walmart in the kitchen aisle}

Adult supervision is ALWAYS required when making slime. This project is NOT appropriate for children under the age of three. Thoroughly wash your hands before and after making and playing with slime. Please also wear clothes that can get messy.

DIRECTIONS:

  • First grab your mixing bowl and spoon. Pour out the entire contents of your 5oz bottle of Elmer’s Blue Glue into the bowl.
  • Next add in 1/4 cup of Elmer’s Magical Liquid slime solution, into the bowl and mix it together with the blue glue.
  • Mix everything together, until well incorporated. You will notice the mixture becoming harder to mix and the slime will begin to form.
  • At this point in time, add in your silver glitter and red sequins {as much or as little, as you like!}
  • Now take your slime out of the bowl and begin kneading it with both of your hands. Once it’s the consistency you like, it’s time to play!
  • Then play with your new slime creation and when done, house it in a jar to create an everlasting Captain Slime inspired slime mixture!
