RLEATED POST —> Semi-Homemade Easter Pudding Treats
Directions:
- First you will want to decorate your plastic cups BEFORE hand. I just painted some simple blue lines all around the cups I had planned on using for our snack idea. Then I set them aside to let them dry completely. Keep in mind – PAINT SHOULD ONLY BE ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE CUPS!
- Once you are ready to assemble your treats, make your pudding first. Follow the directions on the instant pudding mix. We just mixed milk and the pudding mixture together. You can of course make pudding from scratch or even use pudding snack cups already made.
- While I worked on the pudding in the Facebook live, my son crushed up a handful of teddy grahams. Just place teddy grahams in a baggie, seal off and crush with the handle of something. You will want it to look like sand so keep “crushing” them.
- Now it’s time to assemble the treats. For each cup, put a layer of pudding on the bottom.
- Top off with the crushed teddy graham “sand” on top.
- Then add your umbrella, lifesaver candy and of course – a bear that is enjoying the “beach” on top of the sand mixture. Now in our Facebook live, I didn’t mention a “blanket” but I did go back to my craft foam and cut a simple rectangle shape out of gold craft foam for these pictures. Keep in mind – this is not edible. I repeat – this is not edible. For an edible top, I’ve seen people use fruit wraps or candy for the blanket. You can of course do whatever you like or skip it all together!
- Serve immediately or store in fridge until serving time.
