PAIR OUR CRAFT IDEA WITH —> Handprint Baby Chicks Puppet – Kid Craft
Easter Chick Keepsake Craft Supplies:
- White Cardstock Paper {one sheet per Easter chick craft}
- Yellow Cardstock Paper {one sheet per Easter chick craft}
- Orange Cardstock {one sheet per Easter chick craft}
- Orange Craft Paint
- Foam Paint Brush
- Small Paper Plate
- Basic Craft Scissors
- Baby Wipes
- Yellow Crayon/Marker
- Large Wiggle Eyes {two per Easter chick craft}
- School Glue
Directions:
- First things first – the handprints. Squirt some orange craft paint on your paper plate. One by one, paint your child’s hands completely orange and press them on the yellow cardstock. Remove excess paint from hands with baby wipes and a trip to the sink with soap & water. Set aside your handprints to let them dry completely.
- Next is the body of the baby chick. Grab the white cardstock and yellow crayon. Have children “color” their white cardstock completely yellow {or skip this step and opt for a yellow sheet of cardstock instead}
- Once the body is done, grab the wiggle eyes, orange cardstock and glue. Adhere the wiggle eyes. Cut out a triangle nose from the cardstock and adhere that to the center of the colored body as well.
- Now finally, grab your handprints and trim them out with scissors. Adhere them to the cardstock body with glue.
- Then display as is or add other embellishments you see fit!
