Celebrate the upcoming spring season, with this simple “Easter Dump Truck” kid craft idea! With the FREE printable dump truck template I’ve included below, it’s just a matter of downloading, printing and adding Easter themed stickers to complete the craft! It’s really easy to recreate, especially on the fly and cheap!
For the kids who love trucks as much as my son does! #gluedtomycrafts
If you have a kid like I do, pretty much EVERYTHING revolves around cars and trucks. We could be talking about the weather outside and somehow he could turn & flip the conversation to somehow relate to something with wheels. Pretty much 24/7 our house is buzzing with talks of cars and trucks.
“Play cars with me.”
“Look at that awesome truck Mama!”
“Let’s build trucks!”
If he doesn’t continue this obsession into adulthood, I would be REALLY surprised 😉 I blame my husband, because it all started with a purchase of his truck – LOL!
Anyways – long story short. If I want to continue my crafty journey with my little car-obsessed boy, I have to “alter” my ideas to interest him. No he doesn’t want to make flowers and pretty animal shapes! He wants to make cars and trucks – duh!
So if this is your story of your life and you would like to tailor something for your little one to make today, you are in the right spot with our “Easter dump truck” kid craft idea! I’ve even included a FREE printable template below to get you started. From there, all you need is some inexpensive Easter themed stickers to complete it. Super easy and probably why I actually enjoyed doing it with my son, right by his side. He was happy with the theme and I was happy to be crafting with him!
THE SUPPLY LIST & DIRECTIONS:
So here you go – to recreate, all you need to do is DOWNLOAD our FREE PRINTABLEÂ and print it in color, on some simple, plain white cardstock. You will need ONE dump truck copy per craft.
Next – grab your stickers {I purchased mine at Michaels} and go to town on “filling up the bed” of the dump truck with spring themed stuff. That’s it! No real rules – just go for it!
Once done, admire your hard work!
Depending on how thick your stickers are, you might even be able to frame this idea as decor. Unfortunately for us, our stickers were a little too thick to do that but our masterpieces do look nice on our fridge right now 🙂 I hope that little tidbit alone inspires you to get crafty with the kids today!!! Heck – you can even make one too!
A huge thank you for DailyArtHub.com for the use of this dump truck file!
