There’s NOTHING more magical than giving {or receiving} a handmade card. Am I right?!
So why not help the kids make some one-of-a-kind card pieces that are sure to be loved by the lucky receiver!
These Potato Stamped Unicorns Cards are really inexpensive, easy to make and simply MAGICAL, as well! It’s the PERFECT customizable kid craft to beat ANY boredom blues with!
Let’s ride together into a crafty-wonderland with this unicorn themed kid craft idea! #gluedtomycrafts
To recreate – all you is need is a small lob-long {oval} potato that you cut in half for your stamp. You will only need one half of the potato for this craft.
Squirt some pink craft paint on a paper plate. Dip one half of the potato into the paint and smear it around, until it’s completely covered. Now stamp the potato in the center of a sheet of white cardstock. Set aside to let it dry completely. Repeat for each card you want to make.
Now add “unicorn” embellishments like gold paper for the horn, flower sticker embellishments with rhinestone centers for the hair and black paint for the eyes & nostrils.
Trim down your finished pieces with a paper cutter and add to another sheet of cardstock, that is folded in half to make a card.
Now add sentiments like “You are magical” or “I believe in you” in the inside of the card, to really tie the unicorn theme all together!
Finally – gift away!
