Craft Foam Egg Superhero – Creative Kid Craft Idea For Spring
For a second there, I thought I had run out of ideas on how to use up those craft foam eggs I love so much. But I quickly snapped myself out of it and here I am with my latest Craft Foam Egg Superhero kid craft idea!
It’s not an elaborate kid craft per say but I hope it inspires something “SUPER AWESOME” within you and your child today! Remember – this idea can also go beyond the Easter and spring season!!!
Happy crafting, my friends!! Don’t forget to share pictures of your Easter Egg Superhero creations with us on our Facebook page to admire from a far this holiday season!
We LOVE taking one material and making it SUPER! #gluedtomycrafts
So first things first – the supplies!!! You will need ONE craft foam egg shape PER superhero. These can be purchased at Michaels or freestyled out of materials you already have at home. You will also need scrapbook paper, colored cardstock, scissors, glue stick, stapler, pipe cleaner, markers and wiggle eyes.
Start off by first cutting the mask and superhero cape out of the cardstock and scrapbook paper. Go ahead and attach those to your craft foam egg shape with school glue and the stapler.
Now for the facial features. Glue on the wiggle eyes and draw on a mouth with the marker.
Then I finished it all off by cutting your pipe cleaner in half and stapling it to the craft foam egg shape to represent the arms of the superhero.
Add other embellishments you see fit.
When done, set it all aside to let it dry completely before displaying proudly!
