These are no ordinary jellyfish! They are jellyfish made out of CRAFT FOAM EGGS – say what?!
Although it’s only February {but it sure feels like June in South Tampa, Florida right now} I already have SUMMER on the mind! And once we pass through Easter, you will probably have a handful of craft foam egg shapes, leftover from ALL the awesome spring crafts you did with your child this past season.
But at Glued To My Crafts, we HATE when things go to waste. So that’s why we came up with these Craft Foam Egg Jellyfish, which are the perfect way to get rid of odds & ends, while making summer memories!
We break the craft mold on Glued To My Crafts! #gluedtomycrafts
To recreate these FRIENDLY jellyfish friends, you will need craft foam egg shapes, in any color you like. I found mine at Michaels in the Easter section. If you don’t have access to these, you can also freestyle/cut them out of some basic craft foam sheets.
You will also need yarn, a hole punch, scissors and some adhesive wiggle eyes.
To begin, simply hole punch FIVE holes along the bottom of your egg shape.
Now take your yarn and scissors. Cut TEN or more LONG pieces of string for each jellyfish you are making. Go ahead and thread/tie those off through the newly made holes. Add more string if desired.
To finish off the Craft Foam Egg Jellyfish – adhere some wiggle eyes to the craft foam piece so they can see.
Then display proudly for ALL to see!
Don’t forget to check out these fine crafts, also using craft foam egg shapes in unexpected ways!!! #gluedtomycraftsinspiresyou
