Super Easy Snowman Slime Party Favors For Winter
Our homemade Slime Snowman Containers are perfect for a winter themed party favor, in the classroom as a small Christmas gift or something you just DIY for your kids to place in their stocking!
Honestly it’s just so simple, you have NO EXCUSE to not “build a snowman” and gift one to someone special today!!!
So let’s get to the details for this snowman slime party favors tutorial. First things first – the containers for your slime filled snowmen containers.
The little plastic containers I used for my homemade snowman slime were found in the grocery store aisle, by the ziplock plastic bags and containers. They are like condiment containers I believe?
They fit in the palm of your hand, hold 4 ounces and weigh very little. Each container comes with a matching lid that snaps shut.
If you have a hard time finding them in your area, no worries because you can use our affiliate link on Amazon to score some for a few dollars!
Now the directions. To create these snowmen themed containers, I took some small adhesive wiggle eyes {affiliate link on Amazon} and my trusty Tulip Puffy Paint {affiliate link on Amazon} & decorated the lids to look like a snowmen. Black dots for the mouth and of course – an orange triangle carrot nose.
Then once the paint was completely dry, I made up some basic white slime {just white school glue, white glitter but no added colors – you can find our trusty slime recipe via our blog link.
When my slime was completely formed and extra sticky, I divided it up equally between three open containers {keep that number in mind when making yours – you might even be able to do four!}
Once filled with my slime, I placed the decorated snowman lid on each plastic container to seal it up. Then gift away to the lucky recipients to enjoy. Repeat the above steps until you have enough for everyone in your life!
You can also use the DIY snowman container idea with our homemade Snowman Playdough recipe instead!
And that’s it! Happy crafting, my friends! If you do decide to recreate our winter party favors slime tutorial, come share pictures on our Facebook page so we can see what you come up with! #gluedtomycrafts
