Inspired by the recent DVD release of the NEW Despicable Me 3 movie, today I present to you our popsicle stick “M” is for Minion kid craft tutorial!
Keep scrolling for the full how-to and recreate it with your child today! #gluedtomycrafts
This “M” is for Minions kid craft idea is super fun and rather easy for younger children, especially those who are really into the Minions franchise right now {let’s face it – pretty much everyone is, even the adults!}
And this particular craft is just as simple as the post title suggests. All it is is a popsicle stick “M” shape design, made to look like a minion. Kids can of course, make each one have their own personality, as well as adding their own spin to it!!!
If you have some basic popsicle sticks and cardstock in your home, you are well on your way to pulling this DIY together for your child today!
How to make it happen:
You can make the same popsicle stick minion themed craft with your child by gluing FOUR yellow painted jumbo popsicle sticks in a “M” formation in the center of some cardstock.
Then add colored cardstock embellishments like a BIG eye in the center, gray strip for his goggles and some black for his hair/eyebrows.
Finish it off by letting kids add their own flair & personality to their minion. Remember – glitter is ALWAYS welcomed in our craft tutorials!
So what are you waiting for?! Let’s grab those craft supplies, put in the affiliate link DVD, hit play and get ready for some fun craft time!
Happy crafting {and watching the movie} my friends!!! #gluedtomycrafts
Psst – don’t forget to check out our Popsicle Stick Minions or Chalk Art Minion posts as well! Both of which are clever craft ideas for kids to recreate in honor of those funny little yellow guys! Then when you complete both, come share pictures of your finished creations on our Facebook page to admire!
