Super Simple Candy Filled Ornaments - Santa & Rudolph

These candy filled ornaments are so easy to make, kids can help! They’re perfect for Christmas, and you can even give them as gifts. Be sure to check out the video tutorial for step-by-step instructions.

SUPPLIES:

  • Plastic Christmas Bulbs {I found mine at Michael’s}
  • Small Red & Brown Candies {we used M&M’s}
  • Tulip Puffy Paint {red and black}
  • Pipe Cleaners
  • Gold Glitter Paper
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Scissors

DIRECTIONS:

  • First things first – WASH THE ORNAMENTS! Simply remove the metal topper and soak your pieces in some soapy water.
  • Rinse clean and let them air dry completely BEFORE crafting!
  • Next separate your RED and BROWN M&M’s. I found some smaller bags at Target but I bet Walmart or Amazon has them too!
  • Once you have the candy, simply fill your ornaments till they are full. Red for Santa and brown for Rudolph.
  • Put the topper back on your ornament.
  • Now is for the embellishments. I used Tulip Puffy Paint to decorate mine but you can also use any kind of paint you have on hand.
  • When done, let them dry completely before adding some ribbon on the top. Then gift away!
  • I hope our little post inspired you!!! Remember – these shapes can also be snowmen, the Grinch and even a gingerbread man! Just search Pinterest for some inspiration!!! #gluedtomycrafts
