Chocolate Covered Nutter Butter Ghost Cookies

With just some simple store-bought Nutter Butters peanut butter cookies, white colored melting chocolate and a few candy eye embellishments – you too can pull these adorable spooky-themed sweet treats together in no time!

We are talking simple ingredients AND steps right there! Even kids can recreate these with little to no help from adults!

When your nutter butter ghosts are done, wrap them up with a few sheets of tissue paper, place them in a basic metal cookie tin and top it with a pretty bow! That’s it!

Then sit back and pat yourself on the back for pulling together this simple DIY Halloween cookie idea within minutes, while the lucky receivers admire your awesome talent, as well!You seriously are going to feel good about this Halloween themed “food snack hack!”

Semi-Homemade Nutter Butter Ghost Friends Cookies For Halloween

Cookie Supplies:

  • White Melting Chocolate
  • Store-Bought Nutter Butter Cookies
  • Candy Eyes – two per cookie

Directions:

  • Following the directions on your white melting chocolate packaging and melt your chocolate in the microwave.
  • Line a cookie sheet with wax paper and place your cookies on top.
  • Now grab your melted chocolate and a spoon. Carefully “paint” some white chocolate on the front of each cookie to start the ghost’s body.
  • Before the chocolate starts to harden, go ahead and add your eyes so your ghost can see. Repeat for each cookie.
  • Let your finished ghost cookie pieces sit for about an hour to make sure it all hardens in place & won’t smear.
  • Then pile your “ghost” friends into a nice cookie tin, with a few sheets of tissue paper, to make it easy for gifting away!
