I’m on a “quick Halloween decor piece kick” today on Glued To My Crafts and here is my latest DIY idea titled Embroidery Hoop Jack-O-Lantern!
Just like our popular Embroidery Hoop Apple tutorial from the back-to-school season I posted a couple months ago, to recreate this Jack-O-Lantern piece, simply add orange fabric to the center of ANY SIZE embroidery hoop and then hot glue black cardstock or felt pieces to the center, to bring it to life! For fun – add a curled green pipe cleaner for the “vine” on top, if you like!
Our pumpkin themed idea is really simple for kids and adults to make, especially on the fly! It took me maybe FIVE minutes from start to finish to put it together.
Psst – I’ll even let you on a little secret. The orange “fabric” is actually an orange dinner napkin I’ve been hoarding in my craft stash. Who would have thought, right?!
And although I don’t have a full step-by-step tutorial to share with you all today {let’s face it – it’s THAT EASY and I don’t want to bore you with fluff!} my hope is that the images in this very blog post, inspire you in some way to recreate one today! Remember – not only is it great as Halloween decor for your own home but you can also gift it as well!
Be sure to also check out our previous Spider Web Embroidery Hoop or Embroidery Hoop Fox Wreath post, for TWO MORE crafty fall decor ideas that can be made within minutes!
Happy crafting, my friends!!! #gluedtomycrafts
