It’s the PERFECT POTION for a sweet Halloween gift idea! Today’s Super Easy Cauldron Treat Bag tutorial uses materials from Dollar Tree {hello cheap!} and the only “manual labor” is stapling & stuffing!
It’s as simple as it gets but oh-so-impressive when it comes to Halloween gift giving this time of year, even for the “witchiest” person! #gluedtomycrafts
Let’s first talk the supplies.
To “brew” up this crafty DIY, you will need black craft foam cauldron pieces {Dollar Tree in the Halloween aisles} black pipe cleaners, scrapbook stickers/puffy paint and fun Halloween treats to stuff your gift bags with!
Of course you can substitute materials as need be. I bet you could even make something on your Cricut if you needed too!
Now the directions.
To recreate – simply take TWO craft foam cauldron pieces and use your stapler to secure the two pieces together along the edges, leaving the top part/center open for stuffing. The staples don’t need to be “too close” together but close enough so your treats don’t fall out. Repeat for each bag you are making.
Now take a black pipe cleaner and twist it to make a handle. Staple it to the top of your cauldron piece.
If desired, use scrapbook letter stickers or puffy paint to write “Magic Potion” on one side of the gift bag. Set aside to let it dry.
Then slip your small candy treats, plastic toys and decorative raffia paper into the top of the craft foam cauldron bag to gift away!
