Since it’s back-to-school season in our neck of the words, I wanted to share a super-quick Embroidery Hoop Apple – Teacher Appreciation Gift Idea with you all today!
For this DIY, all I did was take a simple and inexpensive wood embroidery hoop from Walmart {any size will work for this DIY} put some red printed fabric I had on hand in the middle and then finished off with some hot-glued cardstock apple embellishments on the top to pull it all together.
If you would like to make one yourself but don’t have all the specific supplies I used, you can easily adjust it and still recreate an awesome apple themed piece. If you don’t have red fabric, simply swap out the fabric color with a yellow and/or green print instead, for a different feel {or maybe do a set of three in all the colors!} If cardstock is not your thing, use craft felt instead for the apple embellishments!
You can even easily gift your finished Embroidery Hoop Apple to a teacher to decorate her classroom on the first day of school or you could put it in a nursery for baby! Overall it’s an easy craft idea that you can make today and gift tomorrow. The ideas are endless with this fun DIY and I hope we inspired you with our quick 5-minute craft idea!
Be sure to also check out our “The Glue That Holds Us Together” gift tag printable post for another gift idea for the first day back to school!
Happy crafting {and gifting your apple themed creation} my friends!!! #gluedtomycrafts
