Magical Wishes Thumbprint Unicorn Card – Kid Craft Idea
It’s AMAZING what you can turn a simple thumbprint into. Seriously – it’s endless and this Thumbprint Unicorn Card tutorial proves it!!!
Even as I type those very words, I can imagine you are thinking, “Stacey, you are crazy! Thumbprints can’t be turned into unicorns!”
Rest assured – no, I’m not crazy but I am creative! And my hopes is I spark that creativity within you too!
So anyways – the other day I was in my craft room {like I am most days} and I starting messing around with my ink pads and markers. Next thing I know – a unicorn painting on my wall spoke to me and wam bam – here are we are!
THE SUPPLIES & DIRECTIONS:
To make your own Thumbprint Unicorn Card, all you need is an ink pad {my preferred color is pink} small white cardstock and colorful thin-tip markers.
Start off by making several thumbprints on the white cardstock, with huge spaces in between.
Clean off your thumb and grab your markers.
Draw on a pointy horn, ears, long hair, nose etc to your thumbprint, to bring it to life.
Then finish off with “May your day be magical” or “Magical Wishes” in the corner, as well as some hearts/spirals all around to give it flair.
Attach to another cardstock card front and woolah – you have yourself a one-of-a-kind UNICORN themed piece! Perfect for mailing/gifting!
Remember – this idea can also be turned into gift tags, wrapping paper, wall art etc!
Be sure to also check out my Thumbprint Pineapple Card idea! Another crafty {but clever way} to turn ordinary thumbprints into masterpieces! THEN, when you recreate both of our ideas, SNAP A FEW PICTURES and come share them on our Facebook wall to enjoy from a far! #gluedtomycrafts
