Beach Themed Starfish Ornament

DIY Beach Themed Starfish Ornament For Christmas

Beach Themed Starfish Ornaments

This past weekend we had family visiting us here in Tampa, Florida and we decided we needed to make a quick trip over to Madeira Beach.

Down there, there is an area called “John’s Pass” that is full of tourist gift shops right on the water and boardwalk.

Of course I “had” to do some shopping of my own and I came across these awesome Beach Themed Starfish Ornaments.

One thing lead to another {and several came home with me} but I figured this was an awesome idea that had to be shared on Glued To My Crafts right away! Que this very post you landed on today!

DIY Beach Themed Starfish Ornament For Christmas

These easy starfish ornaments are perfect for a beach themed party or just to add a little summer fun to your Christmas decor!

BUY THE MINATURE SUNGLASSES ON AMAZON VIA OUR LINK!

YOU can easily recreate these with ease and save yourself the tourist price {ha!}

All you need is some starfish {which can be found at Michaels in their floral aisles} some craft paint and some plastic embellishments to pull it together. Best part? You can customize them to fit a style, personality or even the time of year {like Christmas colors!}

Then make a whole family of them in one sitting or personalize them to represent YOU!

I have plans to keep these two as my husband and I & grab a smaller starfish to make myself, to represent my son. This year I’m doing a “beach themed” Christmas tree so these will fit in nicely and have that personal touch as well!

Although it’s not my original idea – I still hope it sparks some creativity in YOU! And with Christmas right around the corner, maybe you can knock some gift making off your to-do list as well!

Happy crafting, my friends!!! Don’t forget to share pictures of your finished starfish ornaments when you are done crafting, by snapping a few images and sharing them on our Facebook page to see! I can’t wait to see how awesome and “beachy” they turn out! #gluedtomycrafts
