Popsicle Stick Cat In The Hat – Dr. Seuss Hat Inspired Kids Craft Idea
With Dr. Seuss’ birthday right around the corner {this upcoming March 2nd} I’m coming at ya with our Popsicle Stick Seuss Hat kid craft idea! Perfect to go along with the classic story Cat In The Hat!!!
Poor Dick and Sally. It’s cold and wet and they’re stuck in the house with nothing to do . . . until a giant cat in a hat shows up, transforming the dull day into a madcap adventure and almost wrecking the place in the process! Written by Dr. Seuss in 1957 in response to the concern that “pallid primers [with] abnormally courteous, unnaturally clean boys and girls’ were leading to growing illiteracy among children, The Cat in the Hat (the first Random House Beginner Book) changed the way our children learn how to read.
And as always – this kid friendly craft has simple supplies and is easy for children of ALL ages. Plus it takes less than an hour from start to finish. Perfect for those afternoons where you just NEED something to keep the kids entertained and want to include storytime as well!!
So what are you waiting for? Don’t be mischievous like the Cat In The Hat – grab those craft supplies and get to work on this super easy popsicle stick idea!
Happy crafting my friends! Don’t forget to snap a few pictures to share, if you decide to recreate our Cat In The Hat craft made out of popsicle sticks tutorial!
