It wouldn’t be Valentine’s Day without the queen of hearts {right?!} so that’s exactly what inspired today’s latest and greatest popsicle stick craft post from Glued To My Crafts!

It’s a simple kid craft idea that is perfect to recreate in your home, for the upcoming “lovestruck” Valentine’s Day holiday!

I made it with only a few inexpensive craft supplies that I already had on hand and then a little bit of my imagination. I promise YOU, it’s soooo easy to do! You and your child will be able to bring the same Popsicle Stick Queen of Hearts idea to life in your home by following the simple tutorial below.

So let’s grab our supplies and make some adorable & completely customizable queen of heart craft pieces together! Then display as is OR set up shop for some castle themed playtime in the living room. Whatever you do – I hope you AND your child have fun with it!

Popsicle Stick Queen of Hearts Supplies:

* Jumbo Popsicle Sticks {3 per queen of hearts craft}
* School Glue
* Colored Cardstock {we used tan, gold & red}
* Heart Rhinestones/Stickers
* Kid Friendly Craft Scissors
* Large Wiggle Eyes
* Colored Markers
optional – craft paint, glitter, feathers etc.

Directions:

* First grab three popsicle sticks {three per queen} and glue them together to look like a triangle.
* Set aside to let it dry completely. Repeat.
* While those are drying, grab your cardstock paper and cut a triangular shape that will be placed within the popsicle stick design and be the face of the queen.
* At this time, you should also cut out a crown and hair from the remaining cardstock.
* To finish off the Popsicle Stick Queens – have children glue their paper pieces in place, as well as a rhinestones heart embellishments and two wiggle eyes.
* Then add other embellishments they see fit to complete the look.
* Once done, set aside to let it dry completely before displaying proudly!
