Paper Plate Valentine Snail Craft Supplies:
* Large Paper Plate {one per craft}
* Valentine Colored Tissue Paper
* Craft Scissors
* Colored Cardstock
* School Glue
* Small Wiggle Eyes
* Rhinestones/Heart Stickers
Directions:
* First have children cut or tear their tissue paper into small squares. Set aside.
* Next take your paper plate and put a good amount of glue all over it. Have children place the tissue paper on top of the glue, until the plate is completely covered and has a beautiful mosaic look to it. This will be the snail’s shell.
* While they are working on that, cut out a simple hot dog shape out of the cardstock, as well as some fun antennas. Go ahead and glue some wiggle eyes & the antennas in place.
* To finish off the Paper Plate Valentine Snail Kid Craft – go ahead and glue the finished cardstock piece to the decorated paper plate. At this point, you can add also other embellishments {like rhinestones and heart stickers} you see fit to give your snail that one-of-a-kind look!
* Then display your new friend proudly!
