Popsicle Stick “T” is for Turkey – Kids Craft
“T” is for turkey and this popsicle stick kid craft activity is the PERFECT way to reinforce that idea!
Inspired by my son {I’m trying to step up his letter recognition} today I’m sharing another kid friendly activity that is SUPER simple for kids and adults of all ages to pull together to celebrate the upcoming Thanksgiving season!!!
This Popsicle Stick Turkey Kid Craft Idea has endless possibilities since you can have children decorate it ANY WAY THEY LIKE! And it’s just that – a “T” that we turned into a turkey! Then decorate with various embellishments to really hit the idea on the nail! Super fun – right?!

“T” is for Turkey Craft Supplies:
* Jumbo Popsicle Sticks {five per turkey craft}
* School Glue
* Small Paper Plate
* Light Tan Craft Paint
* Foam Paint Brush
* Colored Cardstock Paper – red, orange, brown
* Kid Friendly Craft Scissors
* Mini Wooden Clothespins {four per turkey craft}
* Decorative Leaf Stickers {Amazon Affiliate Link}
* Small Wiggle Eyes {two per turkey craft}
Directions:
* First glue your FIVE jumbo popsicle sticks together to look like an “T.” Two popsicle sticks across three other popsicle sticks.
* Set aside to let it dry completely.
* Now grab your colored sheets of cardstock and scissors.
* Cut out a circular head, triangle nose, as well as legs for your turkey.
* Set those aside.
* Now grab your four wooden clothespins and leaf stickers.
* Adhere one leaf on each wooden clothespin, to make feathers for your turkey.
* Set those aside.
* Now it’s time for the paint step! Grab your paper plate, paint brush, craft paint and the popsicle stick shape “T.”
* Squirt some paint on the paper plate.
* Go ahead and paint your “T” shape completely brown.
* To finish off your Popsicle Stick Turkey – glue your cardstock turkey head to the center of the “T” as well as the other paper pieces in place.
* Then follow that by pinching/adding the clothespin feathers on the top part of the “T” shape.
* Add other embellishments you see fit before displaying proudly!!!
