How To Create Craft Stick & Felt Apples - Fall Kid Craft Idea

Popsicle Stick & Craft Felt Apples

Inspired by autumn and the upcoming apple picking season – this Craft Stick & Felt Apples kid craft idea is sure to be the BEST pick!!!

Using inexpensive supplies like jumbo popsicle sticks, craft felt and tons of school glue – this kid friendly activity is perfect for pretend play and/or fall decorations!

PAIR YOUR APPLE CRAFT WITH —> Paper Plate & Tissue Paper Apple

How To Create Craft Stick & Felt Apples - Fall Kid Craft Idea How To Create Craft Stick & Felt Apples - Fall Kid Craft Idea

Craft Supplies:

  • Jumbo Popsicle Sticks {9 per apple craft}
  • Red or Green Craft Paint
  • Large Foam Paint Brush
  • Small Paper Plate
  • White Craft Felt
  • Green Craft Felt
  • Brown Craft Felt
  • Black Sharpie Marker or Black Tulip Puffy Paint
  • Basic Craft Scissors
  • Tacky Glue or Hot Glue Gun

Directions:

  • First assemble the base of your apples by gluing your popsicle sticks together to look like a fence {7 next to each and two across to make a basic square shape.}
  • Set aside to let it dry completely.
  • Squirt some red or green craft paint on your paper plate.
  • Next have children paint the front of their popsicle stick shapes completely.
  • To finish off the Craft Stick Felt Apples craft, cut a white square, green leaf and brown stem from your craft felt.
  • Glue those to the front of the popsicle stick design in their designated spot.
  • Then grab your black marker {or puffy paint} and draw a few “seeds” in the inside part of the white felt.
  • Let it all dry completely before displaying and/or playing with proudly!!!
