Popsicle Stick Lion Head – Kids Craft Idea
Well friends…. WE MADE IT TO FLORIDA!!!! HOORAY!!!
Oh my goodness – what a change it is from Wyoming to Florida. As you can imagine, lots of changes are going on in our life and I’m a bit overwhelmed. Thankfully, my husband took our son to the pool a little bit ago and I can finally have some time to breathe, sit down & play some catch up on my little blog.
When we landed in Florida over a week ago, we were boots on the ground running fast. We already have our home lined up {for now an apartment right outside the Air Force base} and all our stuff is being delivered this coming week. My lil man starts kindergarten this coming Wednesday {seriously – so many mixed emotions right there} and hubby starts work officially on Monday.
I’m ready for things to finally get settled BUT I’m not really ready for all the changes. I don’t exactly love the change in lifestyle and I’m a bit “homesick” for how things were at our old “home.” Call me small town girl but Florida is really busy, expensive and a lot to get use to. I also might be a bit bitter about losing my craft room for now {seriously – lots of tears!} but at least we have a safe place to call home for a little bit. The game plan is to give this apartment a year and then decide where we really want to settle down for the time being.
Oh well – time to put on some big girl panties and just throw myself into the Florida mix of things. Who knows. It took me six years to love Wyoming. We know for sure we will be in Florida for four years till hubby retires, so my mindset will probably improve after a year or two.
Anyways – this Popsicle Stick Lion kid craft is perfect to explain this whole PCS move. Florida is definitely coming in as a lion full force and I sure hope I can TAME it! Happy crafting my friends!!!
