He’s one goofy looking potato but that’s what so “a-peeling” about him!
Who doesn’t know who Mr. Potato Head is?! Seriously – it’s such an iconic childhood favorite that I had to make a craft in honor of him!
So without ado – here is our Popsicle Stick Mr. Potato Head kid craft idea. And just like the real thing, you can totally customize his face for any holiday, mood or even person {teachers think bulletin board idea for your entire class!}
Happy crafting my friends!!!
Supplies:
* Jumbo Popsicle Sticks {9 per Mr. Potato Head}
* Cardstock/Scrapbook Paper
* Scissors
* Glue
* Wiggle Eyes
optional – glitter, rhinestones, craft paint etc.
Directions:
* First assemble the base of your Mr. Potato head by gluing your popsicle sticks together to look like a fence {7 next to each and two across} Set aside to let it dry completely.
* Next{if you like} have children paint the front of their popsicle stick shape completely {or go nude like we did!}
* To finish off the Popsicle Stick Mr. Potato Head craft, cut out some facial features, as well as accessories from the cardstock & scrapbook paper. Glue those to the front of the popsicle stick design. Then either decorate with glitter, rhinestones or even more craft paint before displaying proudly!!!
