Paper Straw & Wood Flag Craft Supplies:
* Jumbo Popsicle Sticks {9 per wood flag craft}
* Red/White Paper Straws {about 4 per wood flag craft}
* Dark Blue Colored Cardstock
* School Glue or Low-Temp Glue Gun
* Basic Craft Scissors
* Large and Small White Star Buttons
Directions:
* First assemble the base of your flag by gluing your popsicle sticks together to look like a fence {7 next to each and two across}
* Set aside to let it dry completely.
* Grab your dark blue cardstock and trim out a rectangle to go in the top left corner.
* Glue it down on the newly made popsicle stick shape.
* Now grab your red colored paper straws and trim them down to fit in the spaces on the popsicle stick piece.
* To finish off the Popsicle Stick and Paper Straw Flag craft – glue the paper straw pieces, one by one, on top of each space on the popsicle stick shape to represent the stripes on the flag.
* Once done, add some star buttons and set it all aside to let it dry completely before displaying proudly!
